As of June 1, 2024, PT Pertamina, Indonesia’s state-owned oil and gas company, is set to undergo a significant organizational restructuring and leadership transition. The impending changes mark a pivotal moment for the company, as key positions, including those of the Chief Executive Officer and several other top executives, will be filled by individuals affiliated with the ruling political party.
Under the leadership of outgoing Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Nicke Widyawati, PT Pertamina has navigated through various challenges and advancements in the energy sector. Joining her in the departure are Mr. Wiko Migantoro, Mr. Alfian Nasution, Ms. Emma Sri Martini, Mr. M Erry Sugiharto, Mr. Erry Widiastono, Mr. Atep Salyadi Dariah Saputra, and Mr. Ahmad Siddik Badruddin. These individuals, who were previously supported by the Indonesian Democratic Party under the leadership of Mrs. Megawati Sukarnoputri, will now make way for new appointments aligned with the current ruling party.
